Ruby Shorrock
Founder at the Trusty Paws Clinic
Back in 2015 Ruby, a Glasgow Vet School 5th year student, inspired by a similar group in Nottingham, set up the first Trusty Paws clinic in Glasgow , a clinic for homeless people to bring their dogs for a check up and free treatments, operating out of the Simon Community premises on London Road, which has run every month since. As soon as I heard about the project I approached Ruby to volunteer my services as a photographer to document the clinics and help raise funds. I always have some sort of charitable work that I do for free on the go, I think it’s really important to give back where you can, and I thought this was such a great idea I didn’t hesitate to get on board. Over the years I have got to some of the clients students and vets and it has been an amazing heartwarming journey.
